THE LAKE OF SAUTET

One of the places not to be missed during your stay: the lake of Sautet. Located in Corps, province of Isère, at only 10 minutes’ drive from the chalets. In summer, you have at your disposal nautical activities, equipped beach, electric boats rental, catamaran, windsurfing boards, canoe, paddle, electric mountain bikes. The landscapes surrounding the lake and the colour of the water make this place outstanding!

NOTRE-DAME-DE-LA-SALETTE

This sanctuary has an exceptional location! After a few turns, you will discover a spiritual place with a breath-taking view of the valley that is worth visiting whether you come to attend a service, to visit or just to admire the landscape.

VALGAUDEMAR

The Valgaudemar valley is located near Aspres-les-Corps. Begin your visit with the small town of Saint-Firmin, cross the village of Chapelle-en-Valgaudemar and finish with the sumptuous valley of Gioberney and its magnificent waterfall! Departure of many hikes around the whole valley. To see on your way:

  • The Castle of Lesdiguières
  • The Mill of Villar Loubière
  • The hamlet of Portes and Oulles du Diable
  • Numerous waterfalls

DÉVOLUY

The Dévoluy valley is a must for ski lovers and lovers of wide open spaces. The Noyer mountain pass, the lake of Sautet or Gap, all roads lead to Dévoluy. To see on your way:

  • The Chapel of Mère Eglise
  • The Source of Gillardes
  • The ski resorts of SuperDévoluy and Joue du Loup
  • The observatory of Pic de Bure

CHAMPSAUR

Here is another beautiful valley near our chalets Les Petits Ecrins ! The Champsaur valley starts in the village of Saint-Bonnet-en-Champsaur and ends in the resort of Orcières-Merlette. Ski resorts, small typical villages and beautiful hikes are waiting for you! To see on your way:

  • The ski resorts of Ancelle and Saint-Léger-les-Mélèzes
  • The Chapel of Roranches
  • The Chapel of Pétètes
  • The hamlet of Prapic

CHAMPOLÉON VALLEY

Here is a place that we particularly appreciate: the Champoléon valley. Less known but just as breath-taking, you can go there when you go to Orcières-Merlette. To see in the valley: - The House of the Shepherd

GAP

About 40 minutes’ drive away, you can enjoy a city trip to Gap. A small southern town with colourful facades and lively streets. Some nice stores and good restaurants are waiting for you. During the ice hockey season, do not miss to come and support the local team, the Rapaces of Gap!

THE LAKE OF SERRE-PONÇON

Probably one of the most beautiful lakes in France! Activities include nautical sports, beautiful walks, swimming in tropical-like conditions. Also, do not miss the very interesting museum presenting the history of this lake and its construction!

SISTERON

From your chalet, you are 1h15 minutes’ drive away from Sisteron, a gateway to the French Provence. Between history and natural ressources, Sisteron is an ideal stopover to immerse into Provence, its scents and its Mediterranean atmosphere.

GRENOBLE

For your city escapades, Grenoble can be an interesting option for a day. At about 1 hour drive, you can visit a city with various tourist attractions: museums, parks, old military fort, winter Olympic Games, and the famous cable car of Grenoble.

TALLARD

Within little less than an hour drive from your chalet, you can visit the area of Tallard. You will find a charming old town but also a famous aerodrome in the region. It will be the ideal occasion to make a first flight in microlight or other aircrafts!
